From contribution to evidence
How LEFA works
The proposed model links member participation to governance, approved allocation and transparent reporting—not automatic or guaranteed returns.
- 01Terms pending
Understand and verify
Read the facts before joining
Prospective members should receive approved eligibility, unit, cost, risk, cancellation, transfer, privacy and complaint information before making a commitment. Several of those terms remain pending.
- 02Evidence required
Contribute
Record funds with a clear status
An approved payment should move through submitted, verified, cleared and allocated states with a reference and receipt. A transfer is not a return and a pending transfer is not cleared capital.
- 03Controlled
Govern
Authorize decisions through defined bodies
Members, the Board, officers and committees have different responsibilities. Significant decisions need policies, reasons, conflicts handling and the required approval trail.
- 04Capital at risk
Allocate and manage
Diversify within approved limits
Capital may be directed only to lawful, approved activities. Target allocations, actual holdings and results must remain distinct, dated and reconcilable.
- 05No guarantee
Report and decide
Return evidence to members
Authorized reports should explain sources, value dates, costs, risks and decisions. A distribution is possible only after performance, expenses, obligations, reserves and lawful approval are known.
What an account does
A portal is a record—not proof that a proposal is approved
Creating an account gives access to the existing member platform. It does not itself allot Seabo, confirm membership acceptance or establish a legal entitlement to a return.
